Christopher G. Peterson is a Member in the Coal, Manufacturing, and Mining Law industry groups, focusing primarily on coal, commercial litigation, and workplace safety and health. He practices out of the Firm’s office in Denver, Colorado.

Christopher’s practice centers on representing general industry, mining, coal, oil and gas, energy, and construction clients in a variety of matters under the Federal Mine Safety and Health Act. MSHA has started to issue citations under the new workplace examination rule as of October 2, 2018. This presentation will survey MSHA's enforcement activity, focusing on cited conditions, operator's response, and MSHA's requirements.
